Over the past months the ideas behind Granjalotes have slowly been taking shape.
The initial framework and documentation have been written, the website is now online and the first exploratory work has begun.
So far this has included:
– visiting several potential properties
– Creating this website
– early landscape sketches
– conversations with designers
– exploring legal and structural models for shared rural territories
The goal is simple but ambitious: to explore whether a resilient rural territory could emerge where regenerative landscapes, shared infrastructure and long-term settlement come together.
There is still a lot to learn and many questions to answer, but the first pieces of the puzzle are now on the table.
Time for the real work to begin.
